A Broward County judge ordered Johnson jailed Monday until he posts a $1,000 bond. Another hearing was set for June 3. An arrest warrant was issued earlier this month when Johnson failed to meet his probation officer.

The most critical early return for the Cleveland Indians, of course, can be found in the AL Central standings, where the Tribe finds itself two games up on the dreaded Detroit Tigers. But the Indians' success is not going unnoticed elsewhere.  

Former Cleveland Browns linebacker David McMillan was shot to death over the weekend in an apparent robbery attempt. 

McMillan was 31. An investigation by the DeKalb County (Georgia) Police Department is ongoing. 

McMillan was a fifth-round pick of the Browns in 2005 and played three seasons with the team. He was a three-year starter at Kansas at defensive end and was a backup outside linebacker and special teamer with the Browns. 

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- David Murphy put Texas ahead with a three-run home run, and the Rangers spoiled a three-homer game from Miguel Cabrera with an 11-8 victory against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday night.

Murphy's shot just over the fence in right field gave Texas an 8-7 lead and answered a bases-loaded double from Prince Fielder that put Detroit up by two in the sixth inning after the Rangers had walked Cabrera intentionally even though first base wasn't open.
